Vivo Announces the Z Series with 6.26-inch Notch Display and Snapdragon 660 in China

The Chinese smartphone maker has created a lot of buzz in the mobile industry by announcing the next flagship in the ‘Z series’ called Vivo Z1 in China. It sports with 6.26-inch FHD+ 19:9 notch display. Apart from this, the company has also exposed its specifications and price ahead of its official launching.

Vivo Z1 looks similar to the Vivo V9 that has already come up Indian market. Talking about the its specs, the handset comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 (Oreo) and 6.26-inch FHD notch display. There is a little bit confusion about the lock system, may be it will feature with fingerprint scanner or only Face Unlock.

Come to the its notch display that is 6.26 inch fully HD with 19:9 2.5D curved glass, 90% screen to body ratio and narrow bezele Looking at the cameras, it is housed with dual rear cameras 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel camera to capture the depth information for portrait shots. The firm also worked for the selfie lovers as it comes with 12 MP front camera with A.I beauty. It packs with 3260 mAh battery that is sufficient for one day use.

ViVo Z1 Price, color and Competitors

According the firm, the Vivo Z1 will be available at 1,798 Yuan in China (approx Rs 18,000) and it will be cheaper as compared to Vivo V9 which is selling at 22,990 in the country. It is available for order from today and will be on sale from 4 June in China. It comes with three paint schemes in Black, Red and Blue. In this price range, Vivo Z1 will give a tough competition to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro.
